Tolls are imposed on 6,600 km of Italian motorways. Customers can choose between two settlement options: the Viacard and Telepass.

Settlement by Viacard

• Settle toll charges at Italian toll stations quickly and cash-free with the Viacard.

Settlement by Telepass

• With a Telepass device mounted to the windshield (on board unit), toll charges are recorded automatically when passing through the toll stations.

Autostrade SpA sets down the rules and the conditions for the use of Viacard and Telepass.
We provide Telepass and Viacard for the toll payment through a subscription.
All toll transactions by way of Viacards and Telepass devices are specified on the invoice. CTI CIRIOTTO offers to the customers the maximum discount allowed by the Ministry of Transport through Autostrade SpA, to all the Members recorded in a special road association hauler register (Albo dei Trasportatori).
The rebate is applied to the vehicles of Class B -3-4-5 and over and is based on the Euro classification of the vehicle.
The Albo dei Trasportatori Central Committee fixes the maximum percentage of rebate; it will vary according to the Euro classification of the vehicle and may reach 13%.

Who is concerned: the toll is applied to all vehicles with an overall gross weight exceeding 3, 5 tones, with 2 or more axles and height 3 meters or over.
If you would like to use the Mont Blanc and Frejus Tunnels and take full advantage of the discounts, we can provide you a subscriber’s card (a single card for payment of both tunnel) linked to the truck plate. Get your fuel tax back!
All road transport firms with a registered office in the EU can apply for refunding of mineral oil tax paid in the following countries:

• Belgium;
• France;
• Italy;
• Slovenia;
• Spain;
• Hungary.

In order to be able to reimburse the fuel tax paid in the above countries, the following basic requirements must be met:

• Transport/road haulage companies domiciled in an EU Member State, both on own account or for hire-and-reward.
• Vehicle with gross vehicle weight of a minimum of 7.5 tons.
• Invoices were settled using a fuel card or a credit card; not in case of cash payment.
• Fuel fills that cannot be assigned to a specific vehicle on the invoice (information lacking, or different from the official vehicle license plate, e.g. truck cards), are excluded from refunding of mineral oil tax.

Because, depending on the different countries, other criteria must also be met, we will be happy to assist you.
