Who is concerned: the heavy vehicles and coaches with a weight exceeding 3,5 tones
In Poland, the ETC works through specific OBUs provided by VIA TOLL.
These OBUs are detected by antennas when passing under the gantries located on the lanes, with vehicles travelling at normal speed.

Rates are calculated based on the following factors:

• The driving distance in kilometres;
• The type of the road used;
• The weight of the vehicle;
• The EURO emission Class.

The toll is not subject to VAT. No discount is applied.
CTI CIRIOTTO takes care of the registration with the toll operator and provides the post-payment for the Polish motorways. Monthly invoice with a summary of transactions is headed to the customer.
